I think we have something like a 50 year lease now with the new stadium, no?

And if the Jets moved to London, it would be the end of my fandom.

Hell, if the NFL is dumb enough to have a franchise in London, well, that's just a financially moronic mistake.

Gus has summed it up pretty well. I've been a fan of the jets since 86 and lived in London for the last 10 years (moved from Newcastle when I was 26) so I would have a lot to gain from this, but it would be a fucking disgrace if the Jets were moved here.

I also don't think an expansion team would work either as most English/British people who are interested in the NFL already have a team to follow and are pretty passionate about them and wouldn't consider changing allegiance.

Oh and note to Gus: Jets over the Toon? Really?

This might explain , plus I've never really been any good at football(soccer), but was pretty decent at Football.
Our football just has no pride and got destroyed when sky came in with their ?s. Soccer isn't about soccer anymore , its all ????s
At least the NFL still (just) has some integrity left.

I get you. I have to admit I've been looking forward to the Jets games more this year like.
