Still hard to defend after all of these years huh junc?

Letterman would need a top 40 list for all of your nonsensical comments over the years.

Stick to stats junc because your feel for the game is horrendous.

Yeah..perhaps right after the game...I was bleeding a bit. Will stick with it though. The Jets should be in "shut up and play football" mode right around now..and it starts with the coach...who I love.

He is puck...just in a different way. That press conference of blowing the Ravens one by one was just as annoying.

Rex has had a ton of success as a coach in the NFL and deserves to have that job...and the praise.

I would just like to see him grow more as a person and know when to throw punches in the media when his team deserves it. I wouldnt have spent 15 minutes sucking off his former team instead.

The funny thing is last year the entire Raven team thought he was talking too much shit. This year he blows them and the results were worse.

Maybe next year to get them off track he can order them hookers midgets and blow. If they send Ray Lewis a machete...........

Wow that was sick even for me.............

Goodness I cant even relate to this at all. How could you miss that man? This team has balls now, for the first time since Parcells. Not to mention nothing much has been said other than that "our goal is to win the super bowl"

FUCK! You beat me to this point. I really haven't heard Rex talk any shit at all this year. Which kinda adds to ND's point, because no shit talking/shitty play. Kinda weird.

My argument then was rock solid and it still us, some of us understand the game better than others. Clearly you don't understand the game(as we can see w/ this thread) or how to read. Please summarize what you think I said about Herm all those years?

I long for the days when the big "issue" was whether Cromartie was tackling better.

We are fucking 2-2. Jesus Christ the world is not going to end because we are 2-2. There is a lot of football left to play.

First off you can't really take anything away from his defense because they played well against the Ravens. As far as the front 3 look who we just drafted with our first 2 picks. Our offense is the problem and nitpicking the defense is just over the top. All but maybe 3 or 4 teams in this league would prefer our defense it is just they can not do it all by themselves. We need our offense to be consistently decent and that will start with our O line.

Do you have facts to back this up or is this conjecture on your part.

Rex is Rex. Rag on him when we win, not just when we lose, then you have my attention. Just because something does not work does not mean its wrong. You can't just change like the wind. And I am sure he's a bear behind closed doors. Does he look like a pussy like Herm???? He's one mean SOB when he needs to be but he's to smart to give the NY media anything. His only flaw, and it could be a big one is his love of his coaches, hopefully he's wondering what the hell Schotty and Callaghan are doing. The Raven game plan was insane. We could have ran 3 times and punted every time in the first half and be in better shape then we were

Herm Edwards? How you loved him? How when others said he had zero x and o backround you said he was a great coach? How he left here and then destroyed KC?

    Im confused.

Ok...back to smart posters. Yes, you are correct. The defense played well against the Ravens. They seemed to have hit at least a double with Wilkerson. Very impressive in bursts so far. I think their pass rush from the front 3 has been much improved..not there yet..but definitely deeper into the backfield.

I really do not think I was nitpicking the defense at all. I think Rex has a very huge loyalty thing going on with Scott. I think the safeties, who are very rarely asked to cover deep because of the strong play at cb..and the the constant blitzing...struggle big time to cover the tight end position. When its all said and done, the defense will not be the thing that kills this team.

My main issue is with the offense. My main issue, as I stated before, is that Rex is considered a genius at designing schemes to hold back offenses. If thats the case, and I do agree he is, how can he be so blind to have an OC who is a pleasure to prepare for. How does Rex not see this? Not sure.

Self appointed genius posters...like the one above....love to point out specific games that the offense has clicked. Or that the offensive line sucks now...etc.

I just cant see how any defensive genius is allowing the most predictable OC in the NFL to take him to the promise land. Hey..maybe its me. I admit I can be wrong about this.
