I cant wait to hear the press conference for this explanation, who will he blame this time for people saying draft picks its way tooo early and there is no clear cut #1 pick in this draft, admit it he is a terrible coach that never learned to handle pressure situations I am all for tanking the season for draft picks but this is not the year.
also i saw this as the same thing that happened in denver, they shouldnt have even been in the situation to win because of a stupid referee call, so herm just made the same decision as shanahan to go for two but it didnt work out.
No, there's conservative, gutsy, and stupid. Going for 2 instead of forcing overtime isn't the same as having your QB take a knee instead of advancing the ball however many more yards you can to help your Kicker-- oh wait, actually they are the same, they're both fucking retarded.
what that lead too....for a record long FG in January at Hines field. the longest at the time was 45(at hines) and we made our kicker do a 47.....I guess its easy to blame a kicker wonder what happens next.... any idiot knows
Sometimes it seems like Herm is trying to lose. It took them awhile to get it into the endzone and it probably wouldn't have happened without the pass interference call. I don't know why he thought a 2 pt conversion would work when they barely got a touchdown off of an great Gonzales catch. Either way I don't think it was THAT bad of a call though, just because I think that in OT San Diego would have won it.
Get Off Of His Jock I REPEAT GET OFF OF HIS JOCK Herm this herm that its alright to talk about him wen he plays against us, but every week pointing out mistakes seriously get off of his jock
I just hope this doesn't come back to bite the Jets in the ass if they're in a competition with the Chargers for a WC birth.
I wonder that, too, but the NFC West sucks, Denver is about to collapse, and I think one of those two teams will win less than 8 games, making it meaningless.
I would have done exactly the same thing...which is why I'm on my ass at home playing Madden instead of walking an NFL sideline. I think the problem here is that everyone is asking "What was Herm thinking?" and thereby making the false assumption that Herm actually thinks. That man doesn't think. He's pure emotion and instinct.
