With Hill on the other side and a concerted effort to run the ball distracting the defenses, Tone will be like a kid in a candy store this year.
I'd trade this guy if I were you guys I wouldn't want to have to worry about whether he is happy constantly
A former Super Bowl MVP who was overseas visiting the troops was frustrated with himself because he couldn't perform at the high level expected by himself and his teammates. Tone feels like he let down his teammates and slammed his helmet down in frustration as he struggled to finish drills at the excellant level and detail the coaches and him expect. As Rex Ryan says, "Tone is a competitor" and based on that we should see a much better practice from him tomorrow. Oh look how easy it is to spin a non important story.
Yeah, I understand. I can remember when my kids were young and THEY were told things that were hard for them to hear. They too put their hands on their ears and yelled NANANANANANANANANANAH. Go ahead, blame the media. That's convenient. They are an easy target. Forget all about the "man behind the curtain". You know the guy who came to OTA's out of shape, and had a hissy fit when it became apparent to everyone that he couldn't make it through a simple shorts and T-shirt practice. That's a whole lot easier than responding to my question.
WOW, that's amazing. You have nothing to offer on 2 Jet boards. But I have to give you one thing. You are consistent in your vacuousness.
is this fucking serious? this must happen at so many fucking practices around the league, i cant even believe this is a story.
For most, it's not that he took himself out, it's the way it happened, at least according to many/most the news sources. Example: Say that you don't feel well and need to go home from work. Scenario #1. "Hey boss, I'm sick and really can't do shit. And what I do managed to get done, probably isn't my best. I should call it a day and going home" Scenario #2. "Muther$)(&#$_, I'm sick dammit. Keeping me in here and working my ass isn't helping anybody. Send me the ${))*#$ home." Notice a bit of a difference ?
Can someone find another source other than Hack Cimini that mentions a helmet throw or tantrum? Seems like he's the only Jets beat writer that witnessed it. Oh and Jane McManus tweeted something about it too (convenient, another joke ESPN writer)
After the bullshit Holmes pulled last year hes under the microscope and rightfully so. Why is he so out of shape? Its not too late to bring in Braylon Edwards a real #1 WR.
holmes is a douche, i think i have said that before. i couldnt ever in all my life EVER imagine throwing down my helmet and saying its too much im going home. never ever, shit that is EXACTLY the pussy type shit that would get anyone thrown off a team. there are kids playing mighty mites with more heart than this cunt.
Why is he out of shape? Shows how much hes committed to winning and this team. I bet Braylon Edwards is in better shape than Holmes.
I can't stand Holmes, and even I can admit that this is a total non-story. Players get frustrated when they aren't doing well in practice. Shocker of the century
