Schotty had questionable calls at the goal line, but the bigger issue is the inability of this offense to do anything in the 1st quarter. You put yourself a a hug disadvantage all over the field when you can only put together 3 quarters of offense. The defense ends up on the field a lot longer, you let bad teams stick around, you get no flow going, and you end up having to scramble to find ways to win games. They need to more consistent...the Pats averaged 9pts per qtr this season (9,9,9,7 to be exact)...did the Jets even avg 3 in first qtr? This never allows the defense to get very aggressive and makes every damn game a nail biter.
He won't get fired...he'll be leaving to go become a head coach. But you know a lot, so good thread....
