The offense has under-produced all year long. The offensive line has been somewhat porous, with a hole at LG in pass protection and D'Brick having his usual difficulties when the guy next to him can't pass block. The receivers have been bad in a couple of games, mainly when Eric Decker could not play, and mediocre to ok in others. The running game has been really strong most of the season. The QB has been mediocre all season long.

Geno hasn't had a single game where he's put everything together and led the Jets to a win. The Raiders defaulted in front of the Jets and so two costly turnovers just cost the Jets points instead of the game. Every other team has given the Jets the opportunity to win the game by being just competent on offense and the Jets have not been up to the task. It's not all Geno's fault by a long shot but a strong game by him in any game but the San Diego game turns into a Jets win.

Running game was MIA the past 2 weeks until tonight and for much of the Lions game after that 1st drive.

The Lions won because of busted coverages on defense that happened throughout the game. Packers won because of inept play against Jordy Nelson and the Jets losing composure up 21-3. Geno did mess up the Bears game though points got taken off by a terrible call and the phantom Darrin Walls PI was a brutal backbreaker. Broncos were just a far better team than the Jets sprinkle in some mediocre special teams play by Powell and you dig yourself in a hole that's tough to get out of.

The Jets just aren't really talented overall on both sides of the ball. Sprinkle in penalties, some snakebitten plays when it comes to turnovers or bad calls in that Bears game, and poor time management and that's a recipe for 1-6.
