I could see this happening,I can also see a meteor the size of a mack truck missing the rest of the world and hitting Florham Park killing the team and everyone inside the building except Woody Johnson, that's the kind of luck we have
I think there's a better chance that Woody declares himself HC of the NYJ than that scenario happening...
I'm a little surprised Mike Smith's name isn't being brought up much, he has a great regular season career record.
The way he was talking about fast feet, you never know. He may be getting ready to take over the job ... Maybe even both of them
Apparently Chip Kelly is getting sick of Howie Roseman and may be looking to exit his contract. If so, Woody needs to forget about everyone else
Me too, but there are a few exceptions... Parcells, Holmgren and maybe Andy Reid. I'm not suggesting any of them, but most here want an unemployed proven HC with a SB record that's never lost a play-off game. It would be a bonus if he were equally expert on both sides of the ball, has developed an elite QB out of the trash heap, be willing to wait until we hire a GM, have the skills to handle the NY media and a disgruntled fan base. I know that guy is out there, I read it here. He's just waiting for us to find him. He is an elusive fucker, I suspect of alien origin...
The news is a crock. I have a hard time believing Marrone is the only one on the board. Woody jumps the gun but he knows the next two hires may be the best chance,he has to win.
http://www.nj.com/jets/index.ssf/20...head_coach_interview_request_source_says.html the search keeps rolling along
@DarrylSlater: Arizona's Todd Bowles will accept Jets' head coach interview request, source says: http://t.co/PK8TtestN3
Sounds familar,Most people critized Rex for these same qualitys, but every coach is like this.Rexs problem that's overlooked was his ability to put together a good staff on the offensive side of the ball
What makes Marrone an attractive option at all? I don't think Bowles is special but I haven't seen anything that makes me think Marrone is a good coach and not sure he's a guy our players would even respect unless we're winning right away. What about Darrell Bevell? I think he'd be a better candidate than both. Has worked with Brett Favre and Russell Wilson also has history with Percy Harvin if we keep him. He'll definitely be a top candidate if Seattle wins another SB I just hope we pass on Marrone or he goes elsewhere. Edit: Not that he'd want to work with Harvin again. If we got him Percy is a goner unless they hashed it out and he restructured.
