If the Jets are able to minimally establish the running game in the first half and control the clock it will limit the number of times that Peyton gets to touch the ball and keep us in the game. If the Jets fail to get the running game going in the first half and don't make a first down on the first 5 possessions like they did against the chargers it will just give Peyton too many opportunities to score and could lead to a long afternoon.
manning hasn't lost in a while so you'll have to think back. when manning gets hit, he DOES feel pressure, yells at his linemen, gets frustrated, lines up under the guard, and starts making bad throws. rex should tell his linemen to follow through and LEVEL manning early, even giving up a few 15 yard penalties
Also, don't be afraid to throw the football downfield.. this would be the secondary to take some shots deep
