No ban lets all be happy, well except for alleycat, it was a big win, with most of the key younger players playing extremely well. It is a very exciting time to be a Jet fan.... well for all of us except alleycat, its a great time lets show excitement.

He's still going to get better after next season too.

I have a low ceiling in my basement. I'm 6'3. I jumped so high when the jets traded up for him I hit my head. I'm so happy it's clicked for him at the right time.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet, but his 3 incompletions were a dropped TD pass to Edwards, a dropped 3rd down conversion to Keller, and a pass batted away at the line of scrimmage.

Sanchez had his best game as a pro in his most important game as a pro, and if he can continue to play at this level, the Jets are going to be tough to stop.

    Its scary isn't it?

I am on record saying I didn't expect him to do well at all in his 1st game because its so rare for rookie QBs to do well in their 1st playoff game. He had a better performance than Rothlisberger, Flacco, and Ryan.

I'm convinced he has hustled all of us all season long, and now we will see the real Mark Sanchez play, and play well :) .

I won't listen to him, but I'm going to guess Benson showed teams how to beat the Jets and Palmer handed the Jets the win. It had nothing to do with the Jets running game or Sanchez making plays.

He is going to harp on Edwards and how he shouldn't be with the team next year - which I would accept if it weren't for all those draft picks that went away with him.

I did not merge anything. In fact, I don't even remember the last time I merged any threads. I've closed a bunch but that's about it.

I am absolutely STOKED that Sanchez stepped up and played his best game of the year in the playoffs. Could this be a sign of things to come?

Heard him speak on SNY about how hard he worked with Keller and crew in preparing for the game. Obviously, you could tell in the play of both of them. I'm so psyched and so happy to be a Jets fan right now!!!!

    how true.

and to think about how much time cincy spent on film and on the field figuring out how to defend against brad smith and the cat, they forgot to figure out how to defend against Sanchize.

I could not be more proud of Mark and Shotty, and the whole team, Rex Fealy, OL, D..you name it. We are just starting to jell as a team. Whoever we play next week will have to give it 110% to keep up with us. Most importantly we are now doing something never really done before in Jets history...WE KNOW HOW TO OVERCOME ADVERSITY

no turnovers the last 3 games

Mark Sanchez had an AWESOME game, The Sanchize completed 12 of 15 passes for 182 yards and a touchdown (could have been 2 if Braylon didn't have stone hands on that pass to the endzone), and most importantly ZERO Turnovers by Sanchez. In fact, he hasn't created a Turnover in the last 3 games.

Everyone in the universe thought Sanchez was gonna make some mistakes, being that it was his 1st playoff game, on the road in the cold. But man he was nearly flawless, Can't wait to see how great he will be in the coming years:jets:
