.com Unless there's something wrong with my ability to pick up the entire content of the Tweet you linked the added content you refer to included Rodgers answering in the affirmative when asked point blank if he was vaccinated. That was a bald faced lie and his later protestations don't change that fact. Everything else you refer to is irrelevant to the question asked. His invocation of vague references to woke anything and cancel culture appear to be nothing more than an attempt to steer a simple issue elsewhere.
It appears to have been posted for everyone and since it immediately followed my post referring to the same topic by less than twenty minutes, I decided to document that which a couple of us stated earlier. "Rodgers related" covers a lot of territory, and I don't think I'm that well schooled but I always try to be careful to be accurate in what I post, hence the clip.
It could be that the Jets are not headed to being the featured team on Hard Knocks this year after all. Florio has kind of changed his tune and has opined that Washington is the target but that won't be finalized until after the sale of that team is completed, now scheduled for Thursday next week. He said yesterday that if it was to be the Jets there's no reason to delay the announcement, which has never in the past been made so late. Sounds logical to me. NFL: Mike Florio believes NFL is waiting for a certain date to announce Hard Knocks team for 2023 (givemesport.com)
If it's a case of the league respecting the Jets wishes not to be featured on Hard Knocks... then maybe that's a good thing. But c'mon... the Jets are the better story.
Welp. Tin foil hat time - Q contract and Rodgers restructure that Hughes would not stop talking about are on pause until Hard Knocks releases.
Well. it has been "reported" periodically for a month or more now, is this just another round of the same or the real thing? When the NFL or the Jets announce it we'll know for sure.
I've already declared 2023 The Year of the NY Jets. Hard Knocks documenting the Klecko & Revis HOF induction will be sweet. If that hambone Rex could make it work in 2010...I'm sure Saleh can do the same in 2023. Hopefully Aaron can keep his douchebaggery to a minimum... Can't wait!
Hopefully Aaron can keep his douchebaggery to a minimum... Can't wait!
Actually, I think Rodgers will be the one to keep the team in check. If JFM pulls one of his bone headed roughing the passer gaffs Rodgers will be in there to make sure he gets his shit together. Saleh has demonstrated that will not reprimand players. Rodgers will keep everyone in check.
I was being farcical... I dig the fact that Rodgers is here. This team hasn't had an authoritative leader at quarterback in a long, long time. Who was the last QB that the players held in high regard? You know... one with the proper mix of respect, confidence & fear.
I think Ken O'Brien held sway over his offense. Being a tuff motherfucker earns a lot of respect in football...
