... and we all weep sympathetically at your disaffection.

Probably not a good thing but you definitely pay a price for being "interesting".

Sauce is probably going to be a folk hero after this thing.

That's actually the solution I think. Let Sauce take the whole show over and everybody else can get their normal work in and it won't affect him at all because he's Sauce.

I would suggest they change it up and include two teams with a history against each other, probably in the same division. They could edit practices, comments and meetings together to contrast the teams then finish up big when they play each other during the season.

This year the logical second team would be the Dolphins.

Honestly. As a fan that has yet to see their team win a fucking championship. I don't give two fucks about watching additional coverage of my team during the off-season.

What I do care about as a fan, Is my team winning.

    ANYTHING

Anything, that can hinder that process, can straight up, fuck-off. IMO

If the HC and players don't want It, then I don't want that shit either as a fan. There is a reason they don't want that shit In the building.

I really think that should be the end of It...but the greed will surely win out In the end. Of course.

Enjoy the journey. Enjoy the Off season, Training Camp, the Games themselves. Enjoy all of it, and if we're the one team to win it all, that's the cherry on top. But enjoy the cake too. Being a fan of the only team in the entire league who has extra behind the scenes coverage, embrace it, enjoy getting to see the process form the inside out.

The Packers should be the sacrificial victim on Hard Knocks this year.

They didn't make the playoffs last year and they're unlikely to this season. They've *never* been on Hard Knocks in the past. This is the first post Aaron Rodgers year and the head coach and GM are not rookies.

There's no way the Jets should be forced on Hard Knocks over the Packers. If they are then something is really wrong in the NFL office and at HBO.

Fans would actually like to see the Green Bay Packers behind the scenes at training camp. They're one of the most popular NFL teams.

And they should tell him that Revis will be there right on time.

But Revis isn't there = quality TV.

    yeah but they are boring.

You ever see an interview with Jordan Love? It will be good for a nap. HBO wants to keep their viewers awake

The Jets weren't the most popular season on Hard Knocks because they were an interesting perennial contender and classy team. It was because they were prone to being a train wreck. People would get bored with Green Bay after 1 episode.

If I'm the Jets I'm a hard no for this season.

Too much on the line and too many young players in the mix and does the NFL really want Aaron Rodgers talking about shrooms in that kind of forum?

They don’t have an option. They did say no. Doesn’t matter.

How have the Hard Knocks ratings fared over the last 5-6 years? Maybe I’m ignorant because I haven’t watched in years but there are so many choices for media and in particular sports media these days that I’d imagine it’s fallen off a bit.

The NFL should also just do a rotating schedule regardless of playoffs. Maybe the rookie HC thing should stay in place. And allow certain players with tenure or something to opt out of being heavily involved. Just feature all of the rookies and potential camp cuts.
