The Yankee hating is so excessive and ridiculous,but it only looks like that to everybody but the Met fans. If the Yankees didn't have such a winning tradition,nobody would root against them so hard. last i checked the major reason you guys are still playing(other than the Nl just sucking) is your overpaying of pedro(how is that working out?), your overpaying of Beltran(who so desperately didn't want to be a Met that he offered the yanks a deal w/ less $ and 1 less year), the purchase of Wagner, the salary dump that got you delgado and Lo Duca(delgado so badly wanted to be a Met that he spurned you the year before) and the salary dump that brought you Shawn Green. It must really suck being stuck in the same City w/ the most successful franchise in sports.
