After what I just saw today this team could go 12-4 / 13-3 and be the #1 seed in the AFC if they could just get the penalties in check and just have 1 turnover a game instead of 2. (League average is about 1.2). Just look at all the garbage defenses on our schedule this year. - Raiders (Already won - Packers - Bears - Lions - San Diego - New England twice (Their front 7 without Spikes and with Wilfork being a shell of himself is a disaster). - Minnesota - Tennessee That leaves Pittsburgh who lately has been off and on but is still solid, Buffalo twice, Miami twice, Denver and Kansas City who is not nearly as good as they were on defense last year after losing alot in free agency. That is a far cry from having to face defenses last year like Carolina, Cleveland, Cincy, New Orleans and Baltimore, all of which were in the top 12 last year. The best defense we face all year this season is BUFFALO. We have been saying for years that a Rex Ryan defense combined with just an average offense could make us Super Bowl contenders. We have that this year. I still think the Broncos with their additions on defense, will be much to strong for us, but in a one game situation who knows.
