Mike Greenberg... he's a Jets fan and he's the host of the Mike & Mike in the morning on ESPN radio. He also has been getting a lot of air time on ESPN TV lately.
Okay, thanks. My reception on 1050AM is attrocious. I can only receive it in my Tahoe. For that reason, if I do listen to radio talk at all, it's usually 660AM WFAN... Fatso and Russo, when they're not talking baseball, which is rare these days.
Don't worry... Mike Greenberg is that little annoying kid you knew in high school that wouldn't shut up and didn't know what he was talking about, so you are not missing much. He has the annoying voice to go along with it.
lol...I had to read the whole damn thread to get to your post..because I too had no idea who the hell greeny was. Have to disagree with you here Champ, defensive ends that can pressure the qb dont grow on trees. They are exactly what everyone wants. He will be very difficult to replace...the way Hugh Douglass was. He was the best defensive player this year. JV had a strong statistical year, but JA did the most damage. With all the injuries, he is still in his prime and Im sure there are teams that would love to have him.
He is annoying but he also works well with Golic. They can be very funny at times, and he takes the abuse he receives very well.
I seriously doubt the Redskins are the team Abe gets traded to and if they were I don't think the Jets are crazy enough to just get Ramsey and a 2 in the deal. We have to remember this is not Hermway making the decisions anymore. I read reports yesterday that the Jets would not excepy anything less than a 1 for Abe and Ramsey certainly is not valued at a #1 even with a 2nd rounder attached. Now a #1 next year might be interesting as we will almost certainly have a high pick next year and a middle of the road 1st rounder.
Good points. That, plus the cap situation the skins are in. If the skins were able to do this trade...I will finally truly believe that the NFL really doesnt have a cap.
Yes but Greeny popped up some stats which showed when needed JA was a no show. Similar to how many tackles JV made for losses or no gains vs 5 yards or more gains thing
It was said by Greeny not me but I do think most on this board are way, way over valuating JA worth just as they are JV

Good question. JWN EB Big "Jawn" Eliot GP MS DM GS All from the 60s era. Since then there is NOBODY that we have had that can come close to shinning the players I named shoes. If you bring up JK I would say just think of all those off sides penalties he accumlated. MG was only interested in sacks so he to falls by the wayside. CM is OK but nothing special & was not a game breaker. From last years team really nobody since to my standards they are all average or below average sorry to say.
My posts ARE NOT negative they are preceived by you & others as being that way but they are just telling things the way they are which most of you do not want to hear so you say I am trolling etc, etc, etc. Just think of all the misinformation dispensed the last 5 years by most others on this board but a really few of us. They played on teams going NOWHERE so it did not matter. Everytime I would see Jerry Rice on the hi lites & then watch AT I would laugh at how stupid the NYJ FO was. The same goes for KOB vs DM. However I did leave out Brian Cox while a short timer he brought an attitude & made other teams O look out for him & more respect our D
The redskins... didn't they trade this years first rounder to draft Campbell last year... if they have no first round pick they should be moved to the back of our priority teams to deal with in moving JAbe, becuase the ultimate goal is a first rounder. (not that we'll get it... but you have to at least try to get one for him) Ellis

Have no idea what you may have fallen for however I am just making the point that JV like JA are completely over rated by most on this board & from what you posted I would say you to fall into the overarting crowd
