Well, you should speak to them first. They get $800 to play exhibition games and can be put out for the season in doing so. They won't be playing any more they will just be collecting a normal game check for 1 or 2 of those that they basically do for free now.
Preseason is NOTHING like a game. They play a series or 2 in the first game, 2-3 in game 2, a little into the 3rd qtr in the 3rd game and they don't play in game 4 and it's not played at regular season speed. 2 more REAL games will be alot more pounding on the body.
And they don't want to even play that much at $800 a game but they have no choice. You will see the union is all in favor of this as long as they are getting paid.
