I'll make a bet, if McKnight wins a game for us this year we'll say it worked out for 2010 since Leon has already won a game for Seattle.
Seattle's a much weaker team in nearly every position, so he'll have more opportunities to win the game for them. That's something that you clearly do not understand, or you do understand but you won't admit it just so you can perpetuate this stupid discussion.
Disingenuous bet, since the trade wasn't made with only 2010 in mind. You'd have to bet Leon's 2010 season against the entire rookie contract of McKnight and Conner.
I also have to ask, junc, what you'll say if Brad Smith finishes the season with a better return average than Leon and McKnight a higher rushing average.
very true. how fickle are fans. with that said i'd like to see him return punts at least. he showed a flash in preseason and i hate risking leonhard and wilson to injury on PRs. your PR/KR should never be a starter of pivotal player everybody thought that greene was a useless pick last year and we'd never use him and we didn't need a RB and he'd never see any carries behind TJ and leon. how did that work out? oh yeah over 300 yards rushing in the playoffs and over 500 yards rushing during the season averaging 5 YPC.
What does that have to do w/ anything? It makes it harder since he doesn't have much help. I get that but my stalker was using the asinine 2.7 YPC # so clearly he was talking about this year. I have said over and over we won't truly know if this was a good deal for maybe a few years. Leon will have a higher KR average as far as YPC, Brad will have a MUCH higher YPC than every RB in the league since all his runs are on trick plays.
It would really make me happy if he broke a 60 yarder or something so I could spend all week pretending that one play justifies trading Leon.
Smith only averaged 28 yards per return this week. Oh and threw a TD. We should be pissed we'er missing out on Leon though, because thats what a typical whiny fucking fan does.
averaged 3 yards per carry while Leon got one carry for one yard. big loss there. Brad Smith gave the Jets good field position all day and threw a touchdown pass. I wonder how many touchdowns Leon will throw for this year.
rotflmao! I do not understand the hate for McKnight. Its almost as if someone was against his selection and they say things to justify their opinions about the kid. LEON fumbled as a rookie. McKnight was not known as a fumbler in college. Why not give the guy a shot without ridiculing him at every turn? GREENE has cost us two games in two years and who is saying what about him? I liked the little I saw from the rookie today. The opinion of the HC was that he had to run up the gut. he did so without thinking today. He got us a first down too. Enough with the hate mail! He is a JET whether anyone likes it or not!
