Those werent easy passes either, some of them I was like "omg its getting picked" but he really threaded the needle on em and put them right on target.
I get the feeling a combination of a favorable offense and some genuinely developing skills as a QB is helping him out. Kelly's offense has plenty of open men at any given time, Sanchez to his credit takes advantage most instances. Good for him, maybe another door gets open for 'em (or maybe he's just a solid backup, who knows.) I don't regret the jets cutting him though, he was too expensive and kind of risky to keep around for a couple of reasons. If he was here, it should have been to start, PERIOD, not play Smith v Sanchez part two. The team needed some stability at QB, somebody to consider the focus at the position. Going with an injured struggling average at best vet was kind of risk init of itself. So the jets went with the younger cheaper guy with more upside, after all its easier to move on if they give him a definitive chance post rookie year, and Sanchez didn't look definitively good in his preseason outings anyway (I know there may be some disagreement there, but he was nothing special). A vet like Vick was more beneficial to the jets moving forward than sticking with #6, and really moving on will be good for Sanchez's career as well. It was just time to move on, regardless of what happens with Smith, like I said no regrets.
You knew the douchebag haters were going to come out once Mark threw an INT just like every other QB in history has ever done. 11 for 12 (92%) for 117 yards 2 TDs and the worst INT in the history of the league (lol). Some GREAT throws. Geez the guy looks great, in control, better than he looked in 2+ years. _
