Not if he's picking his destination. Barring he's not traded to some random team, I'm sure he will pick a team with a good offensive coaching staff. Great offensive talent would be great also but not as important as the offensive coaching staff. It already looks as if going to Philly was a good decision on his part. You think given the choice Sanchez, or any QB for that matter, would choose to play in an offense run by Schitty or Sparano? Favre reluctantly came here with his eye on leaving to MIN as soon as he gets the chance. Manning wanted no part of being here.
Fair point and that's all well and fine if he's content to be a backup but he is no Payton Manning or Brett Favre so his destination options for being a starting QB are going to be limited.
If he starts somewhere else I guarantee you the offense is better than what he had to work with in year 4... His downfall year
His 3rd year: 32 scores to 22 turnovers. Almost 3,500 pass sings yards. His completion percentage up a bit. Too bad we will never know what he would have been in MM's system
It's not about lighting it up it's about winning. I'm confident he can do the latter; the former would be gravy.

Thanks for that info. I remember reading/hearing Thomas was doing well but didn't know or really cared to know where. That said; don't I don't if Thomas a year from now would already be at the point where the team would not consider bringing in competition.
Jaworski was on Mike and Mike this am discussing the QBs and he said he watched Sanchez versus Pitts first D, then looked at the all 22 from all 3 of his games and was raving about him. Said he has been simply amazing this preseason, really outstanding, has been pinpoint accurate, has got his swagger back, he's healthy, he's comfortable running that offense, he's audibling out of runs at the line and then sticking throws--looked better then at any time as a Jet. Said he's not sure if it's Chip Kelly or being away from Rex, but he has looked great. Said he'll be a starting QB in 2015. Mentioned St. Louis but I really hope he doesn't go back there. _
geez - it really would be the ultimate indictment of the jets if this guy actually becomes a successful starter again. really can only happen to the jets.
