Go get Dez or Demayrius, and draft Cooper.

Id rather sign the WR. I am 75% sure that Thomas will be a free agent, I have to check on Denvers money situation, heck Manning could retire?

I would prefer Dez Bryant but I think Dallas HAS to resign him while Denver can survive without DT. Either will guy where the money is, both coming off rookie contracts, they wont care who is throwing to them.

I just can't see Thomas hitting FA. Obviously that would be great if he did but it just seems unlikely.

If Manning retires, and DT leaves, then I don't know how Denver could survive that, lol. At the very least, if Manning did retire, they'd attempt to resign DT hard to help the next QB out.

Dallas will have about 20 million to spend after signing their rookies but that includes 19 free agents. If they pay Dez his 13 million per season then they will have to basically sign a dozen minimum salary players just to fill the roster. Demarco Murray is also a free agent, so they would have to lose him. I think Dez may be done in Dallas.

Denver will have 27 million to spend after the rookies. Thomas will get resigned. Welker is making 7.5 million per year and is a free agent at the end of the season. Thomas is already making close to 5 million per year. All they have to do is just give Thomas, Welkers money and they are set.

50 / 50 chance Dez becomes a free agent. Thomas is like a 2% chance.

It would be in their best interest to get to FA to hear offers from teams like the NYJ.

It is clear the NYJ are deficient at WR and have large cap room to set the market. Their agents are frothing at the mouths to get a desperation offer from the Jets. Doesn't mean they will take it but they want an offer.

Bryant, Decker, Kerley, depth WR and Amaro could be very dangerous with the right O line and QB

Top 10 receivers in this league don't make it to free agency. You have to draft your own. Something we will never do.

I agree. You can get a second tier guy like Decker in free agency. But elite guys like Bryant, Megatron, etc will never be free agents while in their primes.

You can get O-line and WR's through trades/free agency. There's one way you come across a starting caliber QB, and that's through the draft.

I'm all about taking the top player available if we pick early, but if we don't either trade back into the 1st, or take a QB with our early 2nd round pick, then we'll be set back for years.

Demariyus would be interesting. Apparently Decker and him are best friends, like brothers. They both wish to play with each other again. Wonder if Decker talks with Idzik about bringing him in. Those two would be fun as all hell to watch.
