right....They are empasizing taunting...maybe you don't watch much football considering they NEVER called unsportsmanlike penalty on something like what Miller did
No..but it being emphasized very strongly this season. You can't tell me you haven't seen that done by CB's across the league 100 times before w/o any flag being thrown..
Yes, he's been excellent. There have been plenty of holes up the middle all night. Same story early last week against the Skins.
Just because its a old rule (now being enforced) doesn't excuse him for being a complete jackass. Its not that complicated of a rule. Basically don't stand near the opposing team after making a good play and run your mouth....walk away and talk shit on the sideline with your teammates. Then when you come back out you talk shit while lined up across from him the next time out...It's such a easy rule to follow if you have common sense.
haha, im listening on the radio but it sounds like he just stood over him and said a few things young players mistake, i know he cost us points but its only preseason, a time for learning, im not close to as mad as some toher dudes on here
They haven't? I saw it called a bunch of times last year! It's not new. The players know about it. They may be watching it closer, but it's not the first taunting penalty for just talking ever called. Shockey should know, he gets it called on him all the time. I'm tired of the bias of people on here coming into play. Jolley did some bad stuff, no question. However, when you cost your team points, it's the #1 bonehead thing. It's not even close.
But as I previously stated...he is FAR from the only one. at least 90% of every other DB in the league does the same thing. They are trying to intimidate the recievers and vice versa. Yes it was a stupid mistake..but to make him seem like the biggest idiot in football history for a common occurence in a preseason game is absolutely ridiculous
For what Miller may lack in technique, he sure as hell has fight. Great kick return. He was basically looking for guys to hit!
I don't care if 99.44% of all of football does it. He's not the biggest idiot in football, I agree, but he's the bonehead of the day costing his team 4 points.
