No, there was video of the Pats draft room shown after the draft which showed their draft board, Gholston wasnt on it. Mayo's name was on the list. And their conversation was about trading down right up until they traded their 7 for the 10. If the Jets believed otherwise, that was a mistake.

I don't think BB would ever spend a top ten pick on a conversion prospect especially one who was shown to be stiff in coverage and lacking in motor.

 

I thought by first sack he meant Vernon was doing the grocery shopping for the team dinner. In that case he would be getting a lot of sacks.
