    - Missed a couple tackles that had him looking stupid. Both were well hidden by our kickass D.

    - Wasn't too bad rushing the passer today...the Titans have given up 5 sacks all season and we were in Collins' face all day...Gholston was there at least one or two times...

    - It looks like he's trying to learn a swim move...I saw him try it on Stewart the RT a couple times. Nothing of note really happened...he obviously didn't get a sack.

    - I can garauntee that people are going to knock him for not looking aggressive enough. I'mthis close to saying it myself, but personally I think some of it's got to do with the nature of learning the 3-4 LB position. Theres alot of reading in this D, and it's definitely going to affect the learning curve.

    - I thin he's making OK progress...the fan part of me really would like to see something exciting though.

He looked slow to me in pursuit downfield on running plays and even on that one play when he flushed Collins, but I'm glad he played that much today.

I was more surprised he didn't play in the 2nd half against the Rams. I think he really needs one sack to help his confidence.

If we end up clinching the AFC East, I'd like to see Gholston get considerable playing time for the last game. He's had the entire season to learn the defense, and the talent is still there, so we'll know if he's the real deal by then.

I'm a huge critic of VG and wanted the Jets to go in another direction on draft day. I'm willing to give him a pass this season, since his playing time is next to zero. Gholston needs to make an impact next season.

Gholston has no motor. He gives up in the middle of the play if his first "move" doesn't work.

HE DIDN'T GET A TACKLE, ONLY AN ASSIST.

At this rate we are paying a million bucks per full tackle.

He is the worst top ten pick and by far and the worst money spent vs production in the whole draft.

Him getting playing time in big spots in the game is a great sign, it must mean he's showing improvment in practice.

Gholston didnt look that bad today. I saw him out there more then a few times and he pressured Collins a couple of times.

I've lived in Ohio for the past year and had a feeling he was nothing more than a workout wonder. He has yet to prove me wrong. I hope next year he does, but I really doubt it.

Even most diehard Ohio State fans thought he would ne an NFL bust.

If I were coaching the jets, Gholston would play EVERY defensive snap of the preseason next year, save special teams. Take a real long look to see if you have something. If he shows nothing again, move him and eat the cap hit. We spent 5 years paying Dslob millions and millions before we sobered up and faced reality, i.e. he stunk. Don't make the same error with VG. For every Dslob that you waste a high pick on, there is a Leon Washington who you strike gold with in the later rounds.

Do you realize how bad he must be to even have a thread like this?

1 - he was seen on the last play

2 - he had a pressure on Collins

3 - he played more plays that usual

I mean, just listen to yourselves. This guy is pathetic.

give the kid some time, playing time must mean he is practicing well and like I said I saw him get loose a couple times. Not sure why anyone lists him as slow as he is suppossedly super fast and strong? It mental when the game "slows" for him he will so the speed. He is thinking to much,.

"Don" and "pathetic" just seem to go together like beer and pretzels.
