I got a jersey because basically all I could get over here in Australia was #4 and #56... so friggen ghey! Guess I'm paying uber freight costs to get a Scott or Revis one now when they are out.
Hard to say, my dad runs an embroidery shop, so he does it for free for me. http://www.monogramcenter.com/
he shaved his head and changed his number to 5 "0" until he gets his first sack, so anyone buying his new jersey should be safe for at least a few more years. who knows, 10 years from now he may upgrade his number back to 5 "6" my personal opinion, at the end of the 2010 season he will change his number to 50 1/2
This is why I buy a player's Jersey who is a Bonafide JET. Someone who puts in his time, and shows things on and off the filed that make me proud to wear their #. Running out and buying the Favre and the Ty Law and the Ghost is asinine IMO LMAO@ Ecko!
The big deal is I bought #56. The Premier jerseys usually cost $120. I got mine on sale for $85, which is usually the cost for the screen print kinds. So it was a bargain to me and I figured I'd get a player who will be here a while. RobA...Pretty dumb question. I bought the jersey once the Favre trade happened.
<---------------Rumor has it he petitioned the NFL to get this jersey approved. When they said no, he went with 50.
1 would be a great number, as in the number of NFL sacks he has yet to reach. What a bust. I hated the pick when it happened.
Any change for him is a good thing, I think. Regarding the jersey, buck up man. I'm still wearing my #19 Keyshawn to the games.
thank you. it shouldn't matter if a player is still on the team or not, or if the number was changed. A jersey is a jersey. I've gone to games in my #94 J Abe.
The way I see it any jersey is a snapshot of whatever certain moment in Jets history, unless you get one of those bogus ones with your own name on it.
I don't think he is trying to win over any fans, he just feels more comfortable with the 50, he wore it in college, sucks for the people who bought the jersey, but he did wear 56, so everyone will know so it's not that big of a deal. Looking forward to seeing him this season, got a feeling Ryan will turn it around.
