This is as true as it gets, everyone is calling this guy an asshole, and all he is doing is picking his favorite 15-16 guys and, then saying the others wont live up to expectations. I also agree with his reasoning, if Gholston only feels like showing up against the best competition, then he shouldnt have a problem being motivated on sundays right?
First and foremost, the Jets needed someone to replace Abe. Therefore, Gholston was the best pick possible for the Jets, when they made the selection. I hope he's not a bust -- the draft is a crapshoot -- but at the time, the Jets made the right choice.
