No he isn't. Thats kooky talk. He's a Weis disciple, who IS a great offensive mind, and that makes him worth getting.
I still think our future OC is here already, Callahan. I think he could reconfigure our offense without setting us back 1/2 a season. I would prefer to stay clear of any of Belichicks assistants........
As much as I hate Shotty, the Jets cant get rid of him this season . In the off-season, they need to find someone for OC, doesnt matter if its McDaniels or someone else.
McDaniels would fight with Sanchez and trade him away. McDaniels would fight with Holmes and trade him away. McDaniels would then draft the next Ryan Leaf. Assuming the OC had HC powers...
im good with callahan, or mcdaniels. callahan seems pretty happy with that he is doing right now though.
He's a fine OC, as long as he doesn't have control over personnel decisions. That was his biggest problem in Denver.
Is this an attempt to make a point? Just because you say Paul Hackett could do something doesn't make it true. Just sayin.
I would explore it because people forgot the job he did with Matt Cassell. Cassell never played a game in college yet helped the Pats win 11 games. Pretty impressive. Maybe he can do something with Sanchez. Because Schotty's playcalling is schizo. It has no flow and he just tries to be too cute with the offense. Just take what the defense is giving you and keep them guessing. He is so predictable.
Great point, boozer. As we saw last night, unpredictability is a huge advantage. The WR's routes are all too predictable. Holmes does most of his damage on slants, Braylon is the post and curl guy, and Cotchery does all the underneath ins and stuff. With extra time to watch film, it looks like Belichick and company figured that out.
they also put up 50+ points on KC. your argument is stupid, you just do it because you like to argue. Brandon lloyd, jabar gaffney and eddie royals are Kyle Orton's WR. and it's kyle orton that team has way overachieved in the passing game Mcdaniels sucks balls as a talent evaluator and GM, but he's a good offensive coach and play caller.he should stick to coordinating. it's a move we should really consider, however like someone else said, Rex loves Schitty and i don't think he's the type to throw his coordinators under the bus. unless it gets really really bad or someone offers him a HC Job (god, please let this happen), he's not going anywhere
