I liked Anquan Since He Was At Fla State...

What a wonderful strong shifty wideout he is.

But Anquan is a very lousy fit for the NYJs -- he is a stronger (and probably slower) version of Cotch, actually. A great no. 2 who can get open because he knows how to run routes and fool with DBs big time.

    Just like Cotch does.

What we need is some speed, though. It is time to get a wideout who can fly and upset the apple cart of the DBs that have to stay with him.

I'm saying we put Clowney and (let's call him Triple-X) out there -- two guys who can disappear by you if you blink or stumble.

Meanwhile, the DB's still have to cover the run which we use to punish you regularly.

Speed is what we need at wideout. As much as we can get.

Anquan is just not fast enough.

I never looked at it from that angle before. That is funny.

Can you imagine how pissed off Revis would be? lol

All I can see Revis doing is counting the dollar signs as he shuts these guys down and that looming contract extension gets closer and closer.

I don't think that piss off Revis. It would just makes him all the more indispensable.

I'm actually all for trading for Boldin since I feel we need to draft a WR with our 1st round pick in the first place and it's not like the Cards will be asking for two first rounds, a 3rd and a starting QB like the Broncos were asking.

I would trade our #17 pick (I want Harvin) for a #1 WR like Boldin who's actually @ the peak of his career and should be in his prime for another 4-5 years.

    We could land Boldin with...

    # 17 overall (1st round pick)
3rd round pick and next years 2nd round pick.

I would push for a trade like that

    Boldin
    Cotchery
    Stucky
    Clowney

    Keller

    Our offense would be SET

I'm not one for all of these madden type of trade threads, but Boldin would become the best Jets WR since K.J and if you ask me, he's already just as elite if not more

Wow #17, our 3rd rounder AND next year's 2nd? Bit much, no?

Boldin might have some bad memories of the Jets considering his last visit here.....

Some people here are un-real... willing to give away this much for a WR, but not a QB... just don't get it

This is the kind of thought process I would expect from somebody...who sleeps with the female version of Biff Tannen every night.

    I see you've met TBJF.

I think most people here would have given that deal for Cutler in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, as it continues to come out today, we were never going to be allowed into the conversation.

Oh, and I don't think anyone else thinks that Boldin deal is remotely a good idea.

Apparently Cutler wanted to go to the Bears or Titans......and since the Titans are in the AFC....the choice was clear.

Ok, I guess next years 2nd round would have been a bit much.

#17 and this years 3rd for Boldin could get it done.

    LOLOLOLOLOL

I hear that.... but I shouldn't laugh..... I still have an image of "out-cold" Al Toon lying on the Meadowlands carpet while Gregg Lloyd gave him a ten-count. Bastid.
