That's when you actually show up on the board because god knows you pull a vanishing act anytime the Jets win or Geno has a good game.
ou can check the date I signed up and my posts for anything non Geno but I call it like I see it. This team is bad, its not 1 guy destroying the team. I know you have a "I've seen ___ ____ play in college so you can't comment!" mentality for anyone who disagrees with you though.
Rich Cimini @RichCimini 23s CBS Ch 2 caught Geno Smith on camera as walked off field. A blatant F bomb by Geno directed at a fan. #nyj lol!
Hopefully the fan didn't say the N word or something stupid. Geno did apologize though to his credit. Hopefully the F bomb was to a dummy like Benigno.
Thank you for respectfully disagreeing with me. I'm still waiting for the wall to wall shit storm to hit me behind a comment one of these days
Man that's quite a string of QBs......and to think our neighbors the giants have had only one during that time. A shame... Oh the pain. LOL.
Jets started 1-4 and 2-5 in 2002 and made the playoffs. Jets started 1-3 in 1991 and made the playoffs. Jets started 1-3 in 1981 and made the playoffs. That's once a decade for the last 30 years. Maybe this is the year? This is the Jets mind you, I'm reasonably sure a 1-3 team has made the playoffs many seasons since the merger. Not going to check the whole thing but last year the Eagles started 1-3 and made the playoffs and the Panthers started 1-3 and made the playoffs. That's 5 teams that we know of in close proximity to the 2014 Jets in one way or another that have started 1-3 and made the playoffs.
Didn't the Chargers start 1-4 and make the SB? I know they lost to San Fran, can't remember the year.
Geno is much more familiar with MM's WCO this season but the game obviously has not slowed down for him yet. Most of the errors are errors of commission where he does something you just can't do in the NFL and it catches up to him. This was true for Eli Manning right up until late 2007. Eli had better personnel around him though and Coughlin riding his ass the whole time. He also had the status of being the extremely expensive to acquire franchise, which meant that a whole bunch of people were going to go with him if he failed. Geno is a conundrum for the Jets. They don't have so much invested in him that they can't afford to have him fail, however they're much better off if he makes good. So when do you reset in that situation? I have no clue as to what the right move is at this point. If the Jets were winning more games it would be an easier decision to let Geno take his lumps. As it is I'm sure everybody with a say is conflicted in one way or another.
2001 Patriots started 1-3 and won the Super Bowl. That's the last team to start 1-3 and get to a Super Bowl.
anyone who somehow thinks this team is a playoff contender let alone a SB contender needs a break....
