I was a little surprised with Houston. I thought and still think that Oakland is significantly better, and thought they could manage this one even with Cook. I probably didn't give the Texans D enough respect. I also didn't know about the Raiders LT situation which made a huge difference with Clowney running wild. I also expected more out of Mack who seemed to be standing around a lot and Brock to fuck up. Not shocked though given Houston was home and the injuries to Raiders. I don't expect it to be close against NE but maybe Houston can at least give Brady a few bumps and bruises.
Shitz recovered from a broken leg and had that 10-6 run You gotta figure Carr can take Silver and Black to playoffs next year...give NE a run for their $
Oakland with Carr is super explosive. But Houston's DB's were beastly. WRs were completely shut down. Seattle's run game could not be stopped to save Detroit's life. O-line blocking super well, RBs being patient and waiting for the hole to develop. And Russel Wilson was super efficient.
This game in Pittsburgh is going to be frigid. 16 degrees, "real feel" 8. Will the fish from Miami be able to cope the weather or will their dline feast on Big Ben in the frozen tundra...? First decent matchup in wild card weekend ......wooooo Zzz
A lot of what will determine the Packers/Giants game will be how many shitty Eli passes can Odell make look great and inflate his stats?
When that play was called I never saw it going for 55 and a TD. Lippett, holy shit, wtf was he doing?
I think Vance Joseph is going to fall off a whole bunch of head coaching lists after this game. I don't really understand why he would have been on any of them given how Miami's D wasn't particularly good this year. Rooney rule fakery?
