Lol, they do come thick and fast don't they. He ruined it by saying, "I shouldn't have hit her.." - I'm guessing that might have been for the unlikely event of any feminists watching the show.(this is sarcasm, not very good, but sarcasm nonetheless)
I don't think it had anything to do with feminists. The way I took it was that all we have seen is this brash, emotional, and impulsive King so far in the series. I feel the line about "I should not have hit her" was said to show us that although Robert does have the aforementioned characteristics, he is also more inteligent than he lets on, and he realizes that his actions can, and do, have repurcusions.
no. it was taken directly from the book. a large majority of the lines are verbatim from the book. that said....i was so amped after watching episode 7 i read the first book, then part of the second. I spoiled it for myself by reading some plot synopsis' on the later books. this writer(martin) pisses me off though. not going to get into why, but if HBO keeps matching it season for book, i really wonder how the fans will respond
I did not read the books and no other knowledge. So what I am about to say isn't a spoiler............ That bitch is toast.
I was drunk so the end of the episode was confusing. Who was killing who and for whom were they killing?
Ned approached Cersei and Joffrey in the throne room with the city guard supposedly at his back only to have them cut down the other loyal people he brought with him when Little Finger betrays him.
i'm curious as to who they're going to cast for Stannis Barotheon he won't appear till season 2 though
is it explained what Stannish is doing in Dragonstone? Why he's been fucking around so much there? (just finished the first book)
So far my only complaint with this show is that it renders every other show on TV completely inferior. /Real Talk.
He left after Jon Arryn died, both of them of found out about the incest and that they weren't Robert's real children. He went there to plan what to do next with the guidance of his council and raise an army if needed. He's technically the ruler of dragonstone
That was the Queen's doing? I hope Ned gets some revenge sooner or later, because so far season 1's theme seems to be fuck the Stark's!!
This past episode was awesome. We finally got to see some real acting from Jason Momoa (Khal Drago) in his bad ass war speech to his Queen and generals. If this guy's performance/presence doesn't get you hyped up for Conan the Barbarian, Crom help you! /Real Talk!
