I'd have preferred that Feely was kept, but I'm not going to get bummed about losing a run-of-the-mill, pretty decent kicker.

I think many are just sensitive because of having to deal with the Doug Brien/John Hall/Mike Nugent disappointments over the years.
Feely was an upgrade over them, which is nice, but it's not like he was a Vinatieri or a David Akers.

    We'll be fine.

I prefer we draft someone or bring in a UDFA so we can get someone better than Feely AND Folk. Hopefully the Cardinals gave into Feely's ridiculous contract demands.

Potential is just another word for not done anything yet.If Feely is medicore then Folk was downright terrible last year.

You say Feely is medicore but what has Folk done?Everyone sees that he makes the probowl two years ago but he only attempted 22 field goals which is actually quite low.Feely put better numbers 3 years ago and could of put up better numbers this year if we didn't have those poor snaps or fumbled holds.

You can't be serious about drafting a kicker this year. I'll say this again: if the stories of Sailer correcting Folk's mechanics are true, we're going to be very happy withthis move.

I am going to quote Mr.E because having a circuitous argument with you about Jay Feely is not worth it.

Hey, you think Feely getting signed by the Cards would allow us to sign Rackers? Wouldn't that be ironic.

    Rackers wasn't cut, right?

So what? Nick Folk was a Pro-Bowler in 2007 and has potential. Oh, and 1 made FG from 30+yds out in the Playoffs. Take out Jerry Jones being in his ear before every FG and that's more than enough proof that he's gonna be super awesome for us.

Pretty big freaking IF. Would you really be upset if that 7th round pick wasn't a DE with terrible athleticism who isn't going to make the practice squad?

Again, that was a 50+ yd FG attempt. A very difficult kick, we never should have attempted it AND if you think that was the change in momentum we watched 2 different games. How about up 17-6 allowing the colts to march down the field and score before the half? or how about getting conservative up 14-6 after getting the fumble?

As usual you bring nothing to the discussions. you tell us something and don't bring a shred of evidence to back it up.

Lets put this on record. You can quote stats. You can quote who fumbled what in game 6 of 1993 season. Congratulations........

In my opinion you know nothing about the concept of football. I have no desire to spend 6 hours arguing with stat boy.

I have no desire to get in the inevitable circular argument with you defending a mediocre kicker wasting a friday. So it's ok try and be high and mighty. I know how big the internet and football forums make you feel. I on the other hand are just here for fun and have no need to dispel or make anyone feel comfortable with my football knowledge of lack there of. Especially with the most terminal poster here.

I think the knowledgable folks on here understand that I know a thing or two about this game. you can use your excuses as to why you cannot get into an intelligent discussion but we all know the truth.

If you are here just for fun that's great but don't start your BS by attacking people who a)know more than you and b)you can learn alot from. I certainly don't know everything and the things I don't know I love to learn about so if you got something you can share w/ us that can contribute to the board then please share it.

So unsurprising he went to Arizona after they signed our last two rejects (Nugent and Graham)

Supposively the FAN is saying we are interested in acquiring Rackers depending on the money Feely earns.

Can he kick better than Folk or Feely? If so, I really cannot give a crap about his attitude. It's not like the fucking kicker is going to ruin the team chemistry and I'm certainly not going to clammer to talk to the kicker if I spot him in a bar.
