I watch the guy play - he isn't physical at the line and with his size he should be, has poor awareness, has a lot of lapses in coverage, has no impact in the running game, and relies on natural ability too much.
Cro has been sloppy in 2012 so far, but he's been a second half player the last two years. Statistically he was a top 15-20 CB last year. The Jets were the 5th best team in the league at defending #2 WRs, which is especially impressive considering how poor an option that teams' #1 WRs were against us.
The Jets had a CB in pre-season....wore # 21 and was cut...Julian Posey. Though he got burnt a few times, he looked like he had raw potential & he had good size.
This should be an updated list. http://www.kffl.com/static/nfl/features/freeagents/fa.php?option=DB&y=2012 EDIT: Actually it appears out of date. It shows Leon Hall as a FA.
i dont think we need a corner as bad as we need someone getting to the qb...i say we try to bring in Andre Carter for the rest of the year.
i was thinking the same thing yesterday, He had a pretty good year last season, We don't have one legit pass rusher on our team, 3 games and 2 sacks that came from Garret Mcyntyre
Just checked and he is on the Ravens now. Besides, a hard hitting safety that is a liability in coverage is no solution to losing your #1 CB. Not even sure why he was brought up
