I shouldn’t have introduced Bradford into my argument. You’re post is valid. I’m just saying, if I sign Bridgewater, I got the unemployment agency on speed dial.
You aren't being condescending, but I think you should check out some of his games, he was breaking out prior to the injury. The substantial injury was a freak accident in practice. Non-contact related. Bradford is straight up injury prone that will cost a wad of cash. He can't take a hit to save his life. Far worse of a scenario IMO.
If you're investing in the 6th pick Tedy is a risk too. I like his potential also, but we don't have the luxury of adding a questionable guy like Tedy and not have any protection for our pick if Tedy goes down or cant cut it. Unless you wanna turn things over to Hack? CQM has a valid point imo. I think his reasoning will be why we don't sign Tedy
Yeah I commented to homeofthejets , Bradford was a bad introduction. Silly on my part. I remember the whole Tank for Teddy campaign. He was a solid prospect. Wish it didn’t come down to this.
Oh it’s come down to this and the way things are shaping up Mac better do the best work of his football career or we going to go through another full blown rebuild
Straw man argument there. No one "insists on losing", but if the Jets had played Petty form the beginning (or Hack), they might've also won - though not likely - but they would've "won" by securing a top 2 pick and be masters of their own destiny now.
Does anyone know what a straw man argument is anymore? It's not the definition of an argument you don't agree with. You have Google on your fucking phones, use it.
I remember you going on for weeks on end saying Petty was better the whole time. No professional coach is gonna play to lose. Ever. It's over. Get over it. It sounds good, and so simple, but nobody predetermines their destiny in the NFL. Fate and luck is has more to do with it. It's athletic competition. That's what it's about.
I disagree. But what do I know? However if we pass on Mayfield because of his height or their judgement of him in some negative way and he turns out a winner that will hurt. If you have him rated mid 1st round take him at 6
sorry if that bothers you guys that insist on losing BackTo Queens said: "sorry if that bothers you guys that insist on losing" Definition of straw man argument: "A straw man is a common form of argument and is an informal fallacy based on giving the impression of refuting an opponent's argument, while actually refuting an argument that was not presented by that opponent. One who engages in this fallacy is said to be "attacking a straw man". I never said I insist on losing, therefore it's a straw man argument.
