32 team league 17th in Defensive yards 16th in Offensive yards. The Jets are the very definition of mediocre, middle of the pack, better than about half the teams worse than about half the teams, 500, 50/50, you win some you lose some, glass half empty, glass half full, great potential hasn't shown it yet, big heart, lacks speed, talent galore gutless.....

Fellas, Cowher ain't no Messiah. If you prefer to get to the playoffs and then choke, as opposed to get near the playoffs and then choke, then so be it. How much of Cowher's success if a function of the Steelers organization, and how much is his? That line is blurry for me -- Tomlin (a sub 40-year-old coach, mind you) is doing ok so far.

The last thing the Jets need is to clean house and start all over. What they need is to fire Sutton, demote/fire Shotty Jr. and move ahead. Mangini's a .500 coach, not in Herm in KC territory. I'd start by promoting Callahan to OC, hire Crennel as DC. Cut Coles and his "I don't care/I love Chad" ass.

Dude, unfortunately I do not have room for you in my "big boy" class. I can squeeze you in to the remedial class if you'd like. $200 deposit gets you a seat. Ask Francessa to lend you the money. You got those big PSLs coming up that youve moaned about ad nauseum on this board.

Did Manballsack even know that the Seahawk O-line was all bang up and pieced together? I honestly do not think he even knew.

I don't understand why some people, including Mike, are saying Mangini should stay if we beat the Dolphins but miss the playoffs. I hardly think beating the Dolphins makes up for the terrible losses. All of a sudden if the Jets win this game Mangini is a great coach or something? That seems ridiculous, no?

Exactly! Its retarded. so next year we start the whole miserable cycle all over again. Doesnt this fat little penguin bitch only have one year left on contract anyway? Can someone help me out with this contract? If im right then we either give him an extension, which would be the final nail in my coffin, fire his fat ass , delicious, or have a lame duck coach that everyone hates.

Just got this off the web, fwiw....

..".unless the Jets have changed his contract and not told anyone, he has one year remaining on his original four-year contract. Which means they're going to make a decision on him this offseason, one way or the other. (Coaches rarely enter the final year of their contract, thus creating a lame-duck situation"

You're no more pissed than I am or any of the rest of us.

But the bottom line here is, I'm interested in what NY radio is talking about, particularly when it comes to key sports announcers calling for the firing of our HC. I think that's pretty noteworthy and I'm probably not alone on the board on that.

So if it doesn't interest you, so be it... just don't read it. I just thought there might be others on the board who are not from the NY area and who don't have access to that broadcast.

BTW, if you live in the NE area, my heart truly goes out to you. It's no wonder you rent so many Beavis and Butthead movies for entertainment.
