The salary cap dictates that it is about need or trade out of the pick. In todays NFL you can't afford to pay for 2 starters at LT.

ding ding ding. I can't believe that the FO would rather have Brick over Mario. If they get mario, they can STILL FILL all the holes on the line. If they get Brick, they still have holes to fill on both O-line and D-line.

    wrong.....

    if you read my post
Who said Dbrick will start LT right away..... (remember he could start RT the 1st yr) look at other 1st rnd picks....Tackles.... I GUESS I HAVE TO PUT IT IN CAP WHO STARTS IN THEIR FIRST YR AS ROOKIES, NOT MANY AND HOW MANY MAKE AN IMPACT

and its not like A jones is set in stone to be a starter after 2008.

    Um.....
    ...no.
You think 2 rookies will make our O-Line Ridiculously GOOD??

Think again. Maybe in a year or 2 they will flourish but It is VERY RARE for an O-Lineman to come into the NFL and dominate.
