dude, i called in about oliver mc call when he had that breakdown in the ring. oliver is a "reformed crackhead". fatass and the pooch couldnt grasp why he had a meltdown. when i mentioned this overlooked fact....fatass was screaming "are you a doctor rocco???? do you know the effects of crack on people?"....swear to christ may he strike me down. all i could get out was ....he smoked craaaaaaaaaaack...do you watch the news??? and he went on to tell me how steve howe pitched in the bigs after doing crack. (i thought howe was only a cokehead). i screamed (and was hung up on) hes getting punched in the face....and he smoked tons of crack!!! that was the end of mike and the mad dog for me. my friiend called me up laughing his ass off....he couldnt believe i was bugging out on fatass for him bullying. and when i say he was yelling "are you a doctor rocco? do you know what crack does to the brain?" he was....i think his big fat head went purple.
I guess I'm in the minority that likes WFAN, and thinks that Francessa actually has a clue. Russo on the otherhand is the reason I don't listen to the show, but Evan Roberts, Marc Malusis (when he gets a show like last night), Kevin Burkhardt, and Tony Paige are all excellent hosts with completely unbiased views. They don't give any of these guys prime shows (outside Roberts), because they don't get a rise out of people or cause controversy. It's just good solid sports talk.
