I actually think it has more to do with the fact that back in August, he said after Belichick, Saban was the best coach in the NFL. Now he doesn't want to face the music.

Many times -- if Mike has an opinion about something in football -- its a good bet that Parcells feels the same way. Parcells really liked Tannenbaum -- Mike likes Mr. T. Parcells hated Belly -- Mike hates Belly -- "and has for 20 years." There are certain things that he says that you just can sense that he took right from Parcells.
Francessa is an ass...it's amazing that people actually think he knows what he's talking about (I think they count on the fact that avid listeners of sports radio probably have a pretty low IQ.....you know, the people that listen all day and have all the time in the world to wait on hold to get 2 words in...so Mike or Chris can rudely cut them off before they can make a point, if they had one).....it's apparent that both he and Mad Dog know nothing more than the average fan.....it just so happens they have the platform to spew their nonsense to millions.... i'll give them one thing, and one thing only, they know how to get under people's skin and get ratings, that's about the only thing they excel at
I don't see that so much from Mike, but most definitely Mad Dog. I like Mike, but I agree about Chris. He's no more than an average fan who got this job because he is loud and confrontational, and a personality.
Mike knows and loves football. Dog does not love football, does not root for any team and is jealous of the NFl's popularity. He is a baseball geek like Costas.
Chris, is there to make the show more interesting. I personally love the show and Mike seems to know more than Chris about football. but when chris is gone, i can fall asleep listening to mike alone.
