The fact that he can throw it deep doesn't mean he has an above average arm. Look at how guys like Stafford, Newton, Vick, Peyton Manning, and Big Ben (hell, even Rex Grossman) toss the thing around.

What do deep balls have to do with arm strength?

A high school QB could have made those throws to Edwards.

Of course it is, and I've repeatedly said it's unlikely to happen. I didn't realize you were good buddies with Peyton and know exactly what he is or isn't willing to accept in terms of salary.

Sanchez' arm strength is fine. He doesn't have a cannon but he can make all the throws without a problem. Let's not pretend like he's suddenly turned into Chad Pennington.

peyton didn't sign a 90 million dollar deal because he'd rather make 10 million.

absolutely agree!!! sanchez has the arm strength to throw 50-60 yd bomb...his arm strength is better than chad's, but he's still not reading the defense well and calling audibles when needed

funny, just because brees happened somewhat the way you say, it's going to happen to the others. just like brady. because he was a sixth rd pick, the jets should always wait till the sixth rd before drafting a qb.

now thats logic for ya. lol

point is, the "guy" said Sanchez CAN'T throw deep. Just look at his college days and when we had Edwards. He would bomb it out to Edwards and Holmes.

One of those deep balls came in the Colts game last season which really help set up the game winning FG, another was the Texans where he bombed it out to Edwards on the sidelines with accuracy and then threw the game winning TD to Holmes. Steelers game in AFCCG, bombed to Holmes as well for a TD.

Point is again, people who say Sanchez cant throw deep simply dont know what they are talking about. Just randomly creating sh!t just to justify their hate for him.

All I can hope for is for the Pats to be one and done, so I don't have to read your retarded fucking posts until next year.

harbaugh has indeed helped alex smith!! he's a good game manager of a qb now. nothing more.

i've watched him a few games this year and the only differrence being this year he has been restained from going down the field.
in the pitt game, he was panicky and missing recievers because he was spooked back there just like sanchez is playing this year.
alex smith isn't exactly setting any records, just being a game manager like sanchez was his first two seasons with a top defense and great run game.

Before you anoint Newton and Dalton to the HOF, why don't you see if either of them ever win a playoff game.

You fucking guys are incredible. We basically were a mediocre team for the past decade. Sanchez got us to our first title game since 1998, and 2 years later, we want the guy gone. And who should we replace him with, genius?

He doesn't have a great arm.

    Deal with it.

Every NFL QB can throw a deep ball if they have time and a a big clean pocket and can really step into it. Only a couple-and Sanchez is not one of them-can throw it deep with ease.

Do Dalton and Newton have the #1 ranked defense and the #1 ranked rushing game in the NFL?

Should take a look in the mirror before calling people clueless. You are correct on Newton, but your Dalton comparison is an absolute joke and quite baffling. They have a top 5 defense, and good running game. Dalton also has a stellar receiver in AJ Green. Point to a range of games where Dalton has carried the Bengals. They also haven't beat a single team with a winning record this year. They are this years KC Chiefs, they rode a cupcake schedule to most likely a playoff berth and will get obliterated in the playoffs when they play someone not named the Texans who don't have a QB. You could argue Dalton is doing something similar to what Sanchez did his 1st year (although doing it better), rode a great D and run game to the playoffs (assuming they win their last game). Their offense is ranked 24th in yards and 18th in pts/game.

This isn't to say Dalton is a bad QB, he's not, he's had a pretty good rookie season. But to say Dalton carries the Bengals is hilarious. Lets ignore the solid defense they have this year.

Even if you somehow think Dalton IS carrying the Bengals (he isn't), then what about all those 4th quarter comebacks and game winning drives Mark has accumulated in his 3 yr career? Why aren't we looking at those?
