If not for a stupid Thursday night game (and me being 15 minutes late posting my picks as a result) I would have finished third with 171. Oh well.
Jetlaginca Concession Speech Thank you, thank you, thank you. There will be no hanging Chad controversy (no, NOT the dolphins) for this year’s TGG Football Pool. While remaining committed to the cause of bringing a 2nd championship to the name of jetlaginca it appears victory has evaded me on this year’s football pool. I’d like to thank all pool participants for their dedication and a hard fought, but clean, battle. Congratulations to Gorilla20 on the win. There were trying times, for sure, but that just stands to make one more tough and more courageous. On one particular turning point of the match jetfan99, out in control of 1st place, lost his footing… or more accurately forgot to make his picks. This enabled everyone’s preseason favorite, jetlaginca, to pull out in front and remain there while jockeying back and forth with others. In the end, Gorilla20 was able to pull off a miraculous come from behind finish with what appears to be an almost perfect week in #17. Between his regular season picks and those afforded to him by TGG’s rules for extra points to perfect/near perfect picks, he won it fair and square. My hat goes off to him for a spectacular finish. In closing I’d like to thank all my supporters, family and friends. Without all off you, I wouldn’t have even come close. I can assure you all that next year I will be back. Thank you and goodnight.

Top 5 all year and fell out to finish 9th overall. Still between the few hundred participants I did great. Congrats to everyone in the top 10!
