But that didn't work. We tried it all. Turkey sandwiches don't work (I know that fad didn't apply for last night's game). Me starting a thread finally didn't work last night. You and some other guys not saying bad things didn't work. I think people should just do their normal things and not be superstitious. I'll be gone in 15 minutes for the football game, but will put on the Muts game during commercials. I'll be back later tonight. I am surprised there is not much action in this thread.
Gotta give the fans at Shea credit - they're really trying to be positive for the team. Kinda hard to do when the pitcher can't get within 2 feet of the plate.
this has been such a ridiculous inning. 2 absolute garbage hits, 2 absolute garbage HBPs and and a terrible play by loduca and wright behind him.
Eventually you just have to accept that this team is so unbelievably horrible at the most basic aspects of the game that they are hopeless.
The question is why though? They weren't like this most of the season, it's like the pressure got to them.
why has reyes been an automatic out the entire 2nd half of the season? why did they acquire a piece of garbage like castillo who's essentially a pitcher with a good eye up there? why is PLD the starting catcher? why does willie still have a job?
