First it was a fake spike

Folk missed a 19 yard FG, Braylon dropped a pass, Sanchez threw a pick, Holmes wouldn't turn off his iPod, Rex challenged Sparano's sunglasses, Schotty called the Annexation of Puerto Rico with Tanner Purdum taking the snap, Cromartie got J-Lo pregnant, a unicorn pissed a rainbow and the Dolphins sent a nice thank you card to the Giants for letting them use their facility.

Did I miss anything, guys?

I still can't believe that spike still happened. 1:20 left and we spike, haha. that has to be the first spike in the history of football outside of 1 minute.

 

That call was pretty fucking stupid. That was one of about five things in the game that had me wondering what the hell was going on.

 

And the fake spike game is the most overstated game in Jets history. Marino was marching them up and down the field at will.. They had first down, like at the 2. They were going in, even if they spiked it on first down.

 

I believe Sanchez has a very low Football IQ, he is brilliant at times, but mentally I think he is lacking. Then again Eli Manning is another example of a moron that lead his team to the Superbowl, so it's possible Sanchez can do the same for us one day.

 

I would bet that it was Sanchez's call to spike it. I don't think Ryan was pleased with it.

The spike was a peculiar decision by Sanchez and seemed to take the wind out of the sails of the offense.
