I would sign him in a heart beat, a very solid reciever. Also wouldnt it be great to rub it in the dolphins faces.
DOnt know if Mangini would do it based on character issues.

He pleaded guilty to bashing his wife in the face. A handful of eye witnesses saw him push her out of their moving vintage Cadillac. A prior case, where he knocked around his wife - this time, as she was pregnant - was dismissed because she refused to testify.

Everyone who says, "I don't condone wife beating," and then goes on to tell us all why Randy McMichael is misunderstood is, unquestionably, condoning wife beating. I choose to not sell my soul for a good player on my football team. I will not let Eric Mangini or Mike Tannenbaum forget their hypocrisy if they pursue this criminal.

I've said it many times before on this board: We need to shoot higher for our heroes.

    Green Dude,

That is cool. I played hockey with some of the players that were in the league that movie was modeled after. Some of the toughest bastards I have ever seen. They were really cool though, they never messed with me too bad as I was only a kid at the time.

    Hobbes,

LOL yeah I usually leave that part out.

    The rest,

Just what we need another under achieving ball dropping TE to complain about for the next 4 years. Of course he will be an intersting read in the offseason when he puts his wife in the ring as his sparing partner for conditioning purposes. I will pass on this piece of trash.

Also it is common knowledge here in Miami Randy Mcmichaels favorite joke was............. " What do you tell a woman with two black eyes?"

I was down for trading a 3rd round pick for McMike...I'd definitely take him as a free agent pickup. He's a huge target with very good speed...His drops are annoying, and I don't know about his blocking...But Pennington would love to have a guy with McMike's athleticism.

Depends on his pricetag... but he would give us a better playmaker at TE. While Baker improved last season, he's not the playmaker that McMichael is. This would be a definite improvement.

Of course, I thought the same thing about Jolley...although he was WAY OVERPRICED...

Just like Pacman I wouldn't pick this guy up if he came for free. a 2 time wife beater who isn't that good of a player anyway.

He's still a good player, so even if the Jets don't sign him, at least the Dolphins got a little bit worse today.

Not only one time, but he was feeling really tough one day and waited for her to be pregnant and beat her up again. No lie...

Plus, he drops way too many passes. Not sure who the guy is watching that posted 'he catches everything thrown to him', but he wasn't watching him the last 2 seasons. He also is notorious for having a huge game and then not doing anything for weeks after. No thanks...

i would definitely be happy if mcmichael was added at a reasonable price. as a recieving tight end im not sure baker even even really compares to him. not a big worry but definitely worth a look and i'd be happy to have him
