i was in Mass when spygate broke and that was the general opinion than to. that and that it didn't affect the game. this is why Mass sports fans are the biggest homers and douchebags in the sports world.
Believe what you want, I'll believe NCAA and NFL title winning coach Jimmy Johnson who said everyone was doing it and it didn't help during games only after the game, to figure out tendencies. I've still yet to hear anybody give a ratioal explanation as to how it helps in game.
Of course it helps you to know the other teams signals and plays. Thats why Bill had a secret video collection, thats why bill was ordered to turn over his secret video collection to the NFL, that why bill was fined 500K for being a cheater. It helped when they played the Steelers in the 04-05 afc championship. that was the second time they played. The first time they taped the signals so when they played the 2nd game the pats offense knew what the Steelers d was doing. and they went on to beat the eagles in the Superbowl. Also they were caught and proven to have done it for 7 years. No one else even had even been accused with any evidence, to the best of my knowledge.(except us. which if true was wrong)
are you kidding me? you need to have it explained that figuring out a tendency on film helps when you face a team again? not to mention the Pats were accused of filming the Rams practices before the Super Bowl. do you really need to have the dots connected on that as well?
