All I can say is I'm so angry I STILL see "red" when I think about that shit bag ex-HC of ours pissing in the sheets and losing us the shot at Lawrence.

The draft will have come and gone before I see my anger dwindle. I don't give a flying shit who we get...they aren't Lawrence and that's the beginning, middle and end of it. Not saying anymore.

It's very encouraging listening to Simms take on Wilson.
His track record very impressive, and his reasoning makes sense.
The #2 pick is very valuable.

Yup. This guy plays 10 steps ahead of everyone else on the field. His improvisational skills are off the charts, great footwork in the pocket, plus he can make every throw, is highly accurate, and not afraid to run right up the middle for a first down.

People need to watch his games and study film on him to see how talented he is.

I was pretty much sold after watching the first game I saw of him. He passed the eye test instantly. I could relate a lot to Simms talking about him saying that every time he watched his film he was just like "wow, this is the guy for sure".

Most of the best scouts and QB coaches I've seen seem to favor Wilson, at least as the clear #2 guy after Lawrence. I am now firmly in the camp that he's the guy we should take at #2. I'll be pretty disappointed with any other outcome.

You should be calling Douglas the shitbag, it's his fault, not Gase's.

Yeah I'm still not putting Wilson above Lawrence, but he's really good and if Watson isn't feasible, then he should be the pick.

Wilson needs to sit just like ARod and Mahomes did too. These strong arm dynamic QBs need time to learn to pro game to reach their potential. If we draft him and start him day 1. We could easily destroy him like we did Darnold

I am no QB guru. Forget about me and start the thread here on main page.

what Brook! said here is definitely correct!!! I distinctly remember him posting on the board NON-STOP back in 1998 about how Ryan Leaf was going to be a "CAN"T MISS QB" and a "FUTURE HOFer who was going to put Peyton Manning to shame!"...he wanted the Jets to do everything they could to draft Leaf that year.

Well Chris knows his QBs. I feel better about my take on Wilson, and also am starting to allow myself to believe that Douglas might actually take him at #2. Now I'm going to have to go watch Kellen Mond.

I know he's high on Fields, but I wonder what @legler82 thinks about Wilson.

Chris Simms is probably my favourite person on earth today. He just made the value of that #2 pick astronomical. If others start to view Wilson the same way and peg the Jags taking Lawrence as a “forced pick” and that the true #1 is Wilson! OMG that would drive the price up to a legendary status. More than RG3 status!

Nonsensical BS. You can’t blame either. If you do, you are clueless as to what motivates good leadership.,

I have always been a big Wilson guy. I still think he is going to turn out to be better than Lawrence, whom I still believe to be overrated and overhyped. and I also dont care for his pretty boy, hippy hair, but I know that CMan disagrees with me regarding the hair, so I will leave it at that.

An absolutely absurd take. You're smarter than this.
