I never thought I would see the day I would be so ashamed of the Packers, after listening to the hype from both sides it has become clear to me that Ted Thompson and his cronies wanted to get Favre out of town. I thought I would be able to get past this and cheer for my Packers but I simply can't get past how the Packer Franchise is being run into the ground and how they mistreated one of my heroes. Well I cannot in good faith be a Packer fan at least while Ted Thompson is in charge. If I felt Favre was at fault I would still be cheering for the Green and Gold. The Press Conference that the 3 Stooges of Ted Thompson, Mark Murphy and Mike McCarthy has done nothing to change my opinion that the Packers are being run by Liars and egos run amuck. I am happy that the majority of folks are excited about Favre playing for the Jets. All I can say is The Jets are now my favorite team! GO JETS! BEAT THOSE CHEATRIOTS!

I just checked out the gang green age tree. There are eight people(8) here that were at least 10 years old when the Jets won the Super Bowl. I was undergoing physical at the Hospital for Special surgery watching on the hospital ward. Thirty eight years later the team was 4-12. Will Favre lead the Jets to another Super Bowl? Who knows but he's been there and almost got there last year. How can there not be improvement?
20 years of marriage and still learning. I had flowers delivered. Now it is time to go home and receive a hero's welcome - sort of a twisted Subway kind of thing.

I guess a lot of people agree with me (and others on this board) who insisted that Pennington and Clemens were not the answer at QB for this upcoming season... It also seems like a lot of people who never cared about our team are suddenly HUGE Jets fans.
All I ate today was a bowl of coffee, and I just loaded up on chocolate. Zzzzzzt! I'm as high as a caffeine kite can fly, but that hardly matters as to how the day started - and how it'll end. Hasn't let up yet! :lol:

What a debacle in Green Bay, worse thing is half the losers posting there are saying good riddance! Aaron Rogers..are you f'n kidding me? I hope when he goes down with Turf Toe for the season that the Packers mgt gets fired. All three QB's in green Bay have yet to start an NFL game! One thing about Favre...I saw a couple post's about him playing the season not getting injured. Well this is a guy who hasnt missed a game in 16 years. Don't expect miracles, but expect a player that will put everything he has on the field. He wants to show TT and the boys how big their mistake was. I believe!! GO JETs GO.
