ESPN said last night that Favre told the Jets if he comes back he would only play for Minnesota before they released him. Take that for what it's worth.
Actually he "proved" that two months ago and flat out said it. You do know that he had exactly zero input on being traded to the Jets, right? When Tannenbaum called his agent, he did not return the calls, and when the trade happened, Favre's first awareness of it was hearing it announced on ESPN. Given all that, I don't know why you think "Favre wanting to be a Jet" is something that has to be disproved. I think the burden is on you to prove that he ever did.
The bitch will be that he'll come back to play for the Vikings... and have a Pro-Bowl, record setting year. I call it Jet-Karma.
