You know I was talking to a guy from Wisconsin the other night and and he essentially said the same thing. The Jets and their fans have embraced him and honestly for me I am enjoying the ride as long as it lasts. The scary thing is in my years as a fan, about 25 years Favre at 39 may be the best QB I've ever seen don a Jets uniform. I think you are right though as the organiztion will do what they can to bring him back especially with the core of the team locked up and no apparent young QB waiting in the wings. The Jets will not try to force him to make a decision but will instead do everything in their power to bring him back another year.
Well, looks like the between-the-lines "suck it up, you wuss!" message from Favre may have hit its mark:
Romo playing this week is a bad idea. This isn't the playoffs. They can afford to lose him for a game or two. They can not afford for his injury to get worse going into the second half of the season. If he plays because Favre told him to then....LOL!
Favre is Romo's daddy, and he's just setting him up to look like a chump; the exact opposite of Favre. Who wants to bet sucks a long one this week. Line: 3 Fumbles Ill take the over....
