I just don't get it, he was so good those 1st 2 seasons, I mean he was amazingly good. I blame Bruce Coslet, he ruined many a good players.

Blame Pete Carroll. Wanted run support from his safeties, but McMillan was not a good tackler. Best as a center fielder. He wasn't a bad player. Went to two Pro Bowls his first two years.

Believe it or not I actually wanted Browning Nagle after I saw him in the Fiesta Bowl. I thought we couldn't go wrong with a Schnellenberger pupil.

I also rooted for Glenn Foley every time he managed to get on the field before he laid an egg at St Louis in 1998.

His name was Ataveus Cash. He never played in a regular season game but he was on the practice squad during the 2002 season.

Gotta be Sanchez. He had those great moments and there was so much hope after those two AFC Champ games. He may have been responsible for the single most embarrassing play in Jets history, and I'm not saying he was good enough to keep playing for us but he did get a little too much flack if you ask me. He worked his ass off and played his heart out, it just wasn't good enough.

Favorite worst player lol, this is incredibly subjective as evidenced by the Penny choices.

Maybe John Hall while we're naming kickers. He wasn't exactly Folk for consistency but I always liked his cockiness and the fact he hit more big kicks than he was given credit for, until the Detroit fiasco that got him cut (and he still somehow returned the next year and hit a big kick).

Foley's probably a good one offensively. He had his one shining moment in SF but most of the time he was a spunky kid who everyone rooted for that could never quite get it done.

Defensively...Bart Scott? He was a total one-dimensional player that didn't live up to 'being signed over Ray Lewis' and stunk towards the end but you couldn't help but like him anyway.

I was at that game in 98, the Rams were absolutely horrid. Tony Banks was their starting QB and we absolutely got our doors blown off.

I remember Nagle having a cannon, I remember the story about him getting on his knees at the 50 yard line and throwing the ball through the goal posts. Who knows if it was true or not but pe internet you believed things like that.

Kellen Clemens, nice Catholic boy from Burns, Oregon. A place you go to hide from mobsters or drink yourself to death.

Kyle Brady is another one. What a gigantic waste of space he was. Penn St. has really f*cked the Jets on early 1st rounders.

I so wanted Alex Van Dyke to be great.

And I thought Alex Gordon was going to be LT for us.

I liked kellen clemens... idk why lol.. I never thought he was that bad and i think we did him dirty. First came Brett on his year to step in, then after brett i knew for sure clemens would get at least a year...then what do ya know.. "with the 5th pick in the 2009 NFL draft..". I wasn't that mad but i kinda felt for my boy kellen.. I really started liking him his first start vs the ravens with that almost come back game (fucking justin mccariens sucked and he dropped TWO game tying TD passes), but i wasn't a BIG fan of Pennington's noodle arm so when kellen came in zipping the ball around i thought for sure he was our guy for the future. BUTTTTTTTTT...

Pennington and Sanchez didn't suck. Two of the most successful QB's in Jets history.

This is a good question though. I'll go with Victor Hobson. I always thought he was better than he was. Haha.
