i had no problem with the weather at all on sunday.it was actually pretty cool hanging with my boys during that crazy wind before the game. and the rain had no effect on me either.i come prepared for the forcast and im good.
We had a hell of a time at our tailgate. No doubt. We always have a good time no matter the weather. I can't say the same for opposing fans that walk or park near our tailgate though.
That's the thing; cold and dry versus cold and wet. My bet is that Sanchez is going to have the best game of this season and The Rapist will have the opposite.
I crossed two threads apparently. Mainly because of the Champ comments regarding a dome and Sanchez' performance in the weather.
Sanchez did ok last December and January. He also practices outdoors. You do not bbuild a dome for your qb. The NMS got a Super Bowl without a dome so they are plenty happy.
Last year there was no wetness. This year has been wet & far windier then last year & according to the so called "experts" he has had difficulty navigating the weather this year. I'm sure you have heard those remarks on ESPN or WFAN or Cimini or the NYDNs reporter :jets:
Part of it is the massive ticket prices, but really though it's always like this in New York. New York fans in general are overrated in terms of how they support their teams in person. In the old place I remember the the last time the Raiders came into town there had to be at least 10,000 Raiders fans there. Pathetic...and the Steelers, forget it. Red Sox fans come into new Yankee Stadium by the busload. It's not just the Jets, I was at the Giants-Eagles game in Philly and there wasn't a fraction of Giants fans there compared to how many Eagles fans will show up this Sunday in the meadowlands.
