Sent a message to the Mayor complaining about the mistreatment of visiting fans, and how poorly the San Diego police handled this situation.
Mother fuckers!!!!! I hope these fuckin cops get run over by a drunk driver. These kind of cops deserve zero respect. Fucking assholes!!!
I'm sure those officers will be reprimanded, and the bottom will drop out of San Diego's economy which incidentally has been referred to as a bottomless pit.
Great idea bro. Guys, JerrySanders@sandiego.gov is his email ID (San Diego Mayor). I suggest as many emails to the mayor as possible. This kind of shit should not go unnoticed. I can understand fans reactions towards visitors, but law enforcers blantantly arresting a visiting fan unlawfully? C'mon... Again, JerrySanders@sandiego.gov
This is ridiculous, I would love to say I would of handled this situation "correctly" but I know I would of made matters worse and get very physical. I am happy this has never happened to me.

But oh well Get the word out, about how San Diego Cops like to abuse Jets fans. :jets:
SD cops are the biggest pieces of sh-t in the country, not to mention racist sob's. They make Jersey Troopers look like the Boy Scouts of America. Trust me, I know. I lived in the Gaslamp for 2 years. The cops will arrest you for anything they feel like, plus the rent-a-cops / Paul Blart Mall Cops are all douchebags, making "citizen's arrests" when they can't even read at a 3rd grade level, which would seem to be a pre-requisite if you're going to have enough of an understanding of the law to justify doing something like that.
That Charger fan who was sticking up for the Jet fan... they only talked to him that way because he was alone with his girl and they knew he wasn't going to retaliate. As you said, just showing off their power. I especially loved how the guy said "if you want to talk to me let's go outside and we'll talk". If that was an MS13 guy he was talking to, he'd be spitting blood in a hospital right now. One of these days he'll get his if he keeps it up
Hey Im not defending those cops! he did nothing. But here in the UK you would get ejected for that also, because it could incite others to start a fight. But thats the uk and the whole european hooliganism problems we have. The home and away fans cannot sit together in a stadium because of that. But having been to some NFL games, especially when I Was in Texas stadium 2 years back or so. I was surrounded by Cowboys fans mouthing off at me all through the game and in the lot afterwards and thats the most scared i have been that I was going to get my head kicked in by a group of very Drunk sports fans.
I'm still disgusted and shocked that San Diego Police took out a visiting fan for rooting for his team. It's like three officiers jumped him in his seat and wrestled him down for no reason. I mean this is absolutly disgusting. I am disgusted to see what Police officiers in San Diego let alone in the state of California do to people who are visiting and rooting for their team on the road for no reason. I hope the guy who was standing up for him will also contact the proper officials.
Let this be a lesson to the younger crowd: NEVER RESIST ARREST!! Go with them peacefully and plead your case, it makes a world of difference. Instead of just getting escorted out now he's facing jail time for resisting. Is it worth it? He still got dragged out anyway, so what did he gain by fighting it? You never win fighting with cops, even if you're 100% right.
Trust me, my wife is a doctor at a local hospital near the new Cowboys stadium. She says the hospital would be flooded with stabbed fans on every Cowboys home game, regardless of the result. I guess thats everywhere, but when I went to watch the Cowboys game, nothing suggested that a fight would break out where I was at. I guess circumstances differ.
^And I've been to a couple of West Ham FC soccer games in London. Fans are very racist and fights break out even if you stay quiet. So there's a huge difference in cheering for a visiting team in the US, than in the UK. I wish we had more sportsmanship in all of us.
If your going to get 'nicked you might as well go out swingin'. What were they trying to do, truss him like a turkey, it looked for all the world like they were trying to make him resist, I mean how long to put a pair of cuffs on? I hope they get reprimanded.
But here is the problem. Did he really resist, or did the cops jump him first. If they tackled him down without being warned right away, they have a problem from the get go. Just because there was a quick stop between him chanting the Jets chant & him getting tackled, he picked up his head and had a confusing look to his face, doesn't mean it's his fault. He probably thought it was Chargers fans taking him down, but instead it was the police. I'm sorry but if these cops are intentionally throwing themselves at him with no warning, it's their backsides.
A friend of mine got arrested earlier this year for a fight he was in that got a video posted on youtube, that being the only evidence of the fight. Ended up with probation and a fine, but lets hope that situation can go both ways.
