At least give the guy a look. What can it hurt to bring him in for a workout?

Not going to happen but it'd be a good move just to see if D-Rob has any long term potential at DE.

Not interested eh? Well I'm not interested in watching backup running runningbacks rush for 100+ and 3 TD's. What the fuck?

I'd like to know what our salary cap is and what Jacksons salary is. Maybe that's the reason?

There isn't really a benefit of the doubt to give them at this point. The team just blows chunks and they're not doing anything to make it better.

Drop and give me 500 may make Mangini feel like a head coach but it isn't making him perform like one.

There is a spot on the roster for him since they cut Davis and signed Clowney to PS. Maybe they see someone else to sign if not him.

I think Mangini is saving that for his boy Chatham coming off the PUP....

You wanna sum up this FO and their personnel decisions with one statement?

"We'd rather have Matt Chatham, than Grady Jackson"

The Jets have said they're not interested according to an earlier report. Apparently they're not interested in acquiring a real NT. Someone will sign him soon and upgrade their d-line.

TE Chris Baker, who missed last week's game with a back injury, spent the early part of practice stretching with boxing trainer and Jets special assistant Teddy Atlas ... Mangini said the team is not looking into signing DL Grady Jackson, the almost-400-pounder released by the Falcons this week ... WR David Clowney, who was released from the Jets' 53-man roster earlier this week, was signed to the practice squad. To make room the Jets released WR Chris Davis ... The Jets practiced in the bubble, the team's indoor facility, for the first time this season. Mangini usually enjoys practicing in the elements.

    Shame.

The lack of consistency displayed by Mangini is perplexing.

If you don't even look at Jackson, then you are saying, "he is a stop-gap, I want to evaluate the team we have." So, naturally you would play Clemmens.

If you bring in Jackson, you are saying, "i don't think this team is lost, i am focused on winning this year." So, it makes more sense to play Pennington.

Not even looking at Jackson and still playing Pennington, just doesn't jive in my book.
